Sacred Music

The Glory of God Through Music

Our music ministry is guided by the principles of the Second Vatican Council: "The purpose of sacred music is the glory of God and the sanctification of the faithful." The human voice is the preeminent liturgical instrument, and we encourage all the faithful to participate actively through singing and engaged listening.

We draw from Gregorian Chant — described as "specially suited to the Roman liturgy" — as well as the broader treasury of sacred music rooted in scripture. The organ, "the traditional instrument that adds wonderful splendor to the Church's ceremonies," remains central to our worship.
